Teaching Assistant We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for schools across Hackney. You will be given the opportunity to work in your preferred Year Group to support children with their learning and development. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:· Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting children including those with additional needs. · Utilize your knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.· Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.· Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.Requirments: · Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.· Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.#Please keep in mind that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
