Job Title: Façade Designer Location: London (Hybrid working available) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Overview: We're looking for a skilled and motivated Façade Designer to join a growing, design-led contractor delivering some of London's most exciting high-end commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. This is a great opportunity to work on a mix of new build and cut-and-carve schemes, collaborating with a close-knit team on challenging and prestigious developments. Experience in stonework detailing is a plus, but facade design experience is essential. Key Responsibilities: Produce and develop detailed façade design drawings and technical documentation Collaborate with the Design Manager, project teams, and external consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions Ensure all design work complies with building regulations, project specifications, and client requirements Contribute to design meetings, workshops, and reviews throughout all project stages Assist in value engineering and innovative design solutions that enhance buildability and performance Requirements: Strong technical background in façade design (curtain walling, cladding, glazing, rainscreen systems etc.) Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design tools; Revit experience is a bonus Previous experience working on facade packages for a contractor, sub-contractor, or specialist design consultancy Stonework detailing experience is desirable but not essential A keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable working on projects across London, with some hybrid flexibility What's on Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Full benefits package Opportunity to work on premium façade projects with a talented and growing team Long-term progression within a design-focused business How to Apply: If you're passionate about façade design and want to be part of a business shaping some of London's most iconic buildings, apply now Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
