SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Woodford Location: Woodford, East London Start Date: ASAP / September 2025 Contract: Full-time ( Temp-to-perm opportunities ) Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Woodford is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is committed to providing high-quality support for pupils with a range of special educational needs, and prides itself on fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for both students and staff.About the Role: Support pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges Work one-to-one or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions and learning support Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised strategies and learning plans Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Candidate Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting, is desirable A patient, caring, and proactive approach Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant certification) or experience in education/childcare are beneficial This position is ideal for: Psychology, education, or child development graduates Aspiring teachers, speech and language therapists, or educational psychologists Individuals with a genuine interest in supporting children with special needs If you are enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact in a child's learning journey and are looking to join a supportive school team, we would love to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV to All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
