Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Greater London, Tower HamletsJob Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hoursSalary: £90 - £120 per day (Dependent on Experience)Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroomAssisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for SEND studentsProviding one-to-one support to help students with their learning and developmentHelping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all studentsAssisting with classroom management and behaviour support Required Qualifications: Experience working with children or young adults with SENDKnowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Experience working in a school or educational settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamPatience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEND Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolsTraining in specific interventions for supporting SEND students Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-time, Monday to FridayWorking in a classroom setting with students with SENDPotential for additional training and professional development opportunitiesCollaborating with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to support students All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
