The Head of Reconciliations will be responsible for leading and optimizing the reconciliation processes across all financial transactions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, managing a team of reconciliation analysts, and compelling strategic initiatives to automate and streamline reconciliation operations.Your Day-to-Day Will Involve: Oversee the reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including digital wallets, payment platform, and other financial systems. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation operations management and address any discrepancies in a prompt and effective manner. Develop and implement robust reconciliation policies, procedures, and controls to support business growth and scalability. Drive initiatives to automate reconciliation processes. Collaborate with product, technology, and data teams to design and implement scalable reconciliation systems and workflows. Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce operational risks. Provide regular updates and reports on reconciliation status, performance metrics, and risk factors to senior management and other key stakeholders. Develop a strategic vision for the reconciliation function, aligning with the organization’s overall business strategy and growth objectives. Prepare and present detailed reports on reconciliation performance, trends, and strategic initiatives to the management team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or similar graduation. Over 5-7 years’ experience in financial reconciliations At least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the context of payment solutions or financial data. In-dept knowledge of digital payment systems. Experienced as a user of Financial ERP Systems. Proven track record of managing reconciliation processes and driving process improvements in a high-growth environment. Proficiency in reconciliation and financial management software, as well as data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python). Experience with automation tools and technologies. Building and facilitating automation solutions for efficiency related to reconciliations. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
