RG Consultancy are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established engineering company based in Manchester, who are looking to recruit a highly capable and driven Management Accountant to join their finance team. Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Supporting month-end and year-end close processes Cost analysis and reporting for engineering projects Liaising with departmental managers to provide financial insight Assisting with internal controls and process improvements Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks and reporting Requirements: Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) Previous experience in a management accounting role Strong analytical and Excel skills Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment (desirable) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive and solution-focused approach Benefits: Competitive salary: £42,000 - £47,000 (DOE) 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Sick pay entitlement Comprehensive health and wellness support Free on-site parking Supportive working culture with long-term progression opportunities
