Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD, ADHD, PMLD) Location: Kingston/ Surbiton/ Hampton Hours: Full-time (Monday- Friday)Start Date: September About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and emotional well-being, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needsAssist with personal care and mobility where requiredImplement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategiesFoster a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environmentCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic supportUse a range of communication methods (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC) What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, or PMLD (this can be personal experience as well)A calm, empathetic, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsRelevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not mandatoryA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What We Offer: A supportive and experienced consultant Ongoing professional development and trainingOpportunities for career progressionA chance to make a meaningful impact every day If you feel you are the ideal candidate for this role - please apply through this advert or through our Protocol Education website.
