Role Overview We are seeking a iOS Software Developer with a wide range of cross platform experience to join our team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be working within a talented group of developers in crafting immersive applications for IOS across range of mediums including VR, AR, real-time animation and other emerging technologies! This role offers a unique opportunity in innovation and contribute to a ground-breaking project. As our iOS Software Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing robust, intuitive applications for iOS devices that interact with real-time engines, control systems, and AR experiences. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, artists, and XR specialists to create tools that support real-world production workflows and push the boundaries of immersive tech. Requirements· Develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. · Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional, elegant mobile interfaces. · Integrate ARKit and other iOS frameworks for immersive and interactive features. · Interface with real-time engines (Unreal Engine preferred) and virtual production control systems. · Build prototypes quickly to test and validate concepts. · Optimize app performance, ensure reliability, and handle edge cases for on-set use. · Participate in code reviews, testing, and iterative development processes. · Document technical specs, development workflows, and build processes.Required Qualifications · 3+ years of professional iOS development experience. · Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS SDKs. · Experience working with ARKit or similar AR/VR tools. · Strong understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and mobile UI/UX design. · Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, experimental environment. · Strong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred/Bonus Experience · Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blueprints, or real-time rendering workflows. · Experience with virtual production tools and camera tracking systems. · Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Bluetooth, or OSC (Open Sound Control) is a plus. · Familiarity with DCC software like Maya, Blender etc. · Past experience in media, film, VFX, or XR industries is a big plus. · Experience with Objective C, C++ · Familiarity with Metal and shading languages (e.g., MSL, GLSL)· Experience with Reality Composer and Reality Converter· Experience with AVFoundation and Core GraphicsAbout Pixomondo and our Innovation Lab Team PXO, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company, creates industry-leading Visualization, Virtual Production, and Visual Effects for premium Film and Episodic content.
