About the jobJoin our London office and be a part of a global network of offices spanning five cities (New York, Bangkok, San Francisco, London, and Miami). You’ll be joining a collective of some of the smartest, and design-forward-thinking designers and experts in hospitality-driven experiences.The Designers core responsibilities are as follows:DesignSupporting the Designer in creating designs and delivering presentations based on deliverables outlined in the contract and AvroKO’s Architectural Standards. Tasks may include, but not be limited to developing designs, 3D modeling, elevation renderings, mood board creation, CAD drawings, image research, materials and furniture sourcing, etc.DocumentationWork on assigned design phases within project budgeted hoursUnder the supervision of a Designer, assist in the creation of quality timely sets of drawings, specifications, budgets, and reports as proscribed by the contractAdministrationMaintain project files and folders in accordance with Architectural StandardsTagging images in accordance with Image Library StandardsArchiving record copies of all milestone deliverablesType and issue to Project Manager meeting notes (based on PM’s hand notes) for external design meetingsResumes without portfolios will not be reviewed. Requirements At least 1-3 years of post-graduate design experience with significant experience in high-end, conceptually driven interior designDemonstrated conceptual approach to designPersuasive presentation skillsExcellent teamwork skills. Ability to work collaboratively with different level designers and leaders across the firmExcellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Outstanding communication skillsProven industry experience with common industry software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling applications, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Spexx specification writing software a plusExperience using Sketchup and Photoshop is requiredStrong writing skills (narratives, strategy, meeting minutes, proposals, etc.)Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureLife at AvroKOAt AvroKO, we are dedicated to hiring a diverse workplace that celebrates an inclusive culture and a sense of belonging.
