Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Mitcham, Croydon Shift Pattern: 12 hours, Days & Nights Salary: up to £51,000 Synergi is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for a leading food manufacturer in Croydon with strong mechanical and electrical skills. You will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within. Using your own initiative will be key a lot of the time. Your primary goal will be to ensure that processes and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Roles & Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and circuits.Support mechanical maintenance tasks including pumps, conveyors, valves, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, bearings, and gearboxes.Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical equipment.Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and components as per specifications.Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations (e.g., IEE wiring regulations). Ideal background:Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.Additional certification like 18th edition.Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (FMCG).Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
