Storesperson/FLT Driver - Winsford, Cheshire Working Hours: Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (15:30 finish on Fridays) £13.84 hour (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day) Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as business needs dictate. Key Objectives Reporting to the Management Team, you will be responsible for unloading/loading of deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. You will move materials across the factory to the correct staging areas, load/unload pallet racking, and ensure all documentation is recorded accurately. Responsibilities include: Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations Distribute stock to various locations around the factory and document movements Goods In: unload safely, check off, locate, and document accurately Goods Out: load safely, check off, locate, and document accurately Checking loads are secure Performing and recording daily equipment checks Assisting with stock checks of all materials Maintaining production area housekeeping Minimizing waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumables efficiently Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner Assisting in stores when required, including lifting items with the FLT Always maintaining a safe working environment Employees are required to adopt a flexible approach to work and may occasionally be asked to perform other duties, for which adequate training will be provided.
