This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people with additional needs, offering both academic guidance and emotional support to help them succeed and grow.About the Role: Deliver personalised support to students in both group settings and one-to-one sessions.Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that encourages positive behaviour and emotional well-being.Work closely with teachers and support staff to plan and deliver targeted interventions and individualised learning approaches.Track students’ academic and emotional development, providing regular feedback and identifying areas for further support.Promote students’ social and emotional growth through thoughtfully designed, engaging activities.Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours, contributing to a calm and nurturing atmosphere. The ideal candidate will: Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting young people, including those who may display challenging behaviour.Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and meaningful support for students.Remains calm, focused, and solution-oriented when working under pressure or managing difficult situations.Committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students at all times.Works effectively as part of a team while also showing confidence and initiative when working independently.
