This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take full ownership of the finance function, supporting the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team, and wider Group. As Financial Controller, you will be a proactive, commercially minded Accountant who can provide clear financial insight, drive efficiencies, and play a key role in strategic decision-making.What’s on offer to the Financial Controller:A pivotal role within the organisationThe opportunity to influence business performance and support strategic growthA supportive and collaborative leadership teamThe role of the Financial ControllerFull ownership of management accounts, balance sheet, and financial reportingLead cashflow management, forecasting, and budgeting processesPrepare the annual budget and bi-annual forecast updatesPartner with operational teams (including QS and Contracts) to provide financial support and challengeDevelop and implement robust financial policies, processes, and controlsOversee VAT returns (via Comply First Time software) and liaise with external auditorsDeliver meaningful management information and financial models to support commercial decisionsDrive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting efficiencyThe ideal candidate for the role of Financial ControllerQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experienceExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levelsCommercially astute, analytical, and confident in financial modellingResilient, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
