After School Tutor (Part-time, after school, long-term)Stockton Heath£30 per hour (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)October 2025 Vision for Education is working with a local authority to appoint a dedicated and reliable After School Tutor to deliver high-quality, one-to-one sessions to secondary pupils in the Stockton Heath area who are needing additional help accessing education. The ideal After School Tutor must be able to tailor sessions to suit the needs of the student and must have experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH.Students typically access one hour per week, after school, face-to-face or online, depending on student needs. Flexibility and a student-focused approach are essential.Subjects in Demand: EnglishMathsScience Requirements: A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)A clear subject specialism in English, Maths or ScienceExperience working with secondary-aged students and those with SEND & SEMHStrong planning and communication skillsA commitment to delivering regular, reliable tuitionFlexibility to deliver online or in-person sessions as neededOrganisation to submit clear and timely reports on engagement and attendance What we offer: As an After School Tutor, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
