Cover Supervisor - WellingboroughLocation: Wellingborough, NorthamptonshirePay: £100-£130 per day (depending on experience)Start Date: ASAP or October 2025Contract: Full-time, term time onlyAgency: Tradewind Recruitment Looking to get into teaching or gain more classroom experience? We're working with a number of secondary schools in Wellingborough who are looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support their teams. This is a great opportunity if you're thinking about a career in education, whether you're a recent graduate, a teaching assistant ready for the next step, or someone with experience working with young people. What you'll be doing: Supervising classes when teachers are absent Making sure students stay on task and follow the lesson plan Managing classroom behaviour and keeping things calm and focused Helping students with their work when needed Feeding back any issues to teaching staff or senior leaders What we're looking for: Someone with good communication and classroom management skills A confident presence in front of a class Experience working with young people (in a school, youth work, coaching, tutoring etc.) A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to get stuck in What you'll get from us: Competitive daily pay, paid via PAYE A dedicated consultant who really understands local schools Access to free CPD and training (including behaviour management and safeguarding) The chance to build experience before applying for teacher training or other school roles Interested?
