General Teaching Assistant Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to support children in their learning and development? We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Catford, Lewisham, supporting a lively and engaging Year 3 class. About the Role: Full-time position (term time only) Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Supporting the class teacher in delivering the curriculum Assisting with group work, 1:1 support, and classroom organisation Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment Providing pastoral and academic support to pupils as needed The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have: A passion for working with children and helping them thrive Previous experience in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one) We Offer: A supportive and friendly staff team A well-resourced school environment Opportunities for professional development and training A chance to make a real impact in children's learning If you're looking to start (or continue) a rewarding career in education and are available to start immediately, we would love to hear from you!
