TP Tutors are looking for enthusiastic and engaging Tutors throughout Darlington and the surrounding areas to support pupils on a 1:1 basis. Many of our current placements are supporting pupils awaiting school placements, and as such tuition often takes place in the home environment or out in the local community.There has been an increase in demand for functional skills tuition in English and Maths.Pupils require tuition for a variety of reasons, such as: Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school and awaiting a new placement)Emotional needs including school phobia or anxietyMedical needsLearning DifficultiesCommunication and Social NeedsRelocation and awaiting a school placementImprovement in gradesSupport with GCSE preparation Successful applicants will need: Experience with primary or secondary aged childrenExperience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)Ability to manage challenging behaviourAbility to plan and deliver your own engaging lesson, tailored to the pupils needs and ability.A calm, kind, and patient approachAbility to build positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundariesSafeguarding training Working through Teaching Personnel allows for many benefits including: Team of consultants to look for roles for you and support you in the ones you findA competitive wage of £25 to £30 an hourExclusive Access to out CPD AcademyFlexibility on your working conditions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
