As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development within the classroom setting.Job Duties: Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needsAssist in the implementation of individual education plansSupport the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessonsHelp create a positive and inclusive learning environmentMonitor and track student progress Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolsExperience working with children with special educational needsGood understanding of SEN provisions and strategies Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a teamPatience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or qualifications in SEN supportExperience working in a similar role within an educational setting Working Conditions: This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis within a school environment. The successful candidate will be required to adhere to school policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to support student learning.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
