Interim Financial Accountant | Global Media Business | London/Hybrid Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the most exciting, fast-growth businesses in the Media & Entertainment Industry, headquartered in Central London. With a modern, collaborative office space and a global reputation, this industry-leading organisation is now looking for an Interim Financial/Management Accountant to join the team on an initial 9-month contract. The Role This position is a key role sitting in the finance function, reporting directly to the Finance Director. It is a broad role which covers elements of financial/data analysis, finance business partnering, management accounting and financial accounting. This is a hybrid role (2 days per week in the office) based in Central London. Responsibilities Own key accounting processes and controls across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and compliant reporting Prepare, review and analyse financial results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for corrective action Take responsibility for intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet integrity, ensuring timely resolution of differences Provide quality assurance and technical accounting support to colleagues, acting as a subject-matter expert across key financial areas Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure correct accounting treatment and smooth flow of financial information Support statutory reporting and audit processes through preparation of supporting schedules, analysis, and documentation Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and control What We Need to See (Essential) Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with a preference for practice qualified/audit experience. Breadth of experience across financial accounting and elements of financial analysis. What We'd Like to See (Bonus): ACA/CA qualified with experience in audit Prior experience with Royalties/Rights (Media/Publishing/Music etc) Day Rate: £400-450 (Outside IR35) Length of Contract: 9 Months Location: Central London (2 days in office, 3 days remote) If this role is of interest, please apply online or get in contact with Ed Naish.
