An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester within an Independent, Family-Run Workshop located in Midhurst.Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.Benefits:Competitive basic salary based on your experience and qualificationsBonus scheme based on performanceOvertime paid at time and a halfNo weekend working – a genuine work-life balanceOngoing training and development, including paid MOT training if requiredSupportive working environment with a friendly and experienced teamOpportunity for career progression within a growing businessDuties:Performing routine servicing and maintenance on all makes and models of vehiclesDiagnosing and repairing mechanical issuesCarrying out MOT tests (if qualified)Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and preparation of sales vehiclesEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulationsRequirements:Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI or equivalent)MOT Tester Certificate (preferred, but not essential – training can be provided)Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding abilityA team player with a positive, can-do attitudeAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyGood communication skills and a customer-first approachThe salary of this role is up to £30,000 - £42,000 Basic + Performance Bonus + Overtime (Paid at Time and a Half).Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No Weekends!).To apply for this position, please forward your CV to Darwin Manship quoting the job reference number or call our office for a chat about this position.© Perfect Placement UK Ltd – See our website for details.
