The Role: This is a varied finance assistant role working closely with the remote finance team to assist in: Invoicing duties including creating and sending one-off, quarterly and annual invoices. Keeping invoicing trackers and systems up to date. Reconciliation of customer payments. Liaising with multiple internal teams and external customers. Undertaking light debtor management tasks. Supporting in-contract activity or volume adjustments. Contract query and problem solving. Jointly monitoring the finance inbox and triaging as necessary. Participating in the processing of supplier invoices. Supporting incoming supplier, and customer communications. The Person: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to prioritise workloads. Attention to detail and high accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. High levels of self-discipline, a strong work ethic and attention to detail. A can-do, self-starter able to work independently at home without supervision or direction, but comfortable asking for help if it's needed. A relaxed and friendly personality - calm under pressure. Our client is offering a fully remote set up with monthly team meetings and excellent ongoing support. Full training is available, with genuine career progression and study support available.
