Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a senior commercial role on one of Dublin’s most exciting construction projects? The Opportunity: You’ll be joining a contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale, high-profile projects, working alongside a best-in-class commercial team. The initial project is a €100m+ landmark Dublin development, combining premium commercial, residential, and public-realm elements, the kind of scheme that defines a career. With a strong emphasis on structured progression and mentoring, it’s an ideal role for a commercially minded QS looking to take the next step up. Your Role:As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of commercial management on major packages and support the project’s financial success from start to finish:Oversee all aspects of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.Manage subcontractor tendering, valuations, and final accounts.Lead monthly cost reporting and forecasting for senior management.Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and opportunities.Drive value engineering initiatives and ensure robust cost control.Mentor junior QS team members and foster a culture of excellence.Collaborate with the wider design, site, and commercial teams to ensure the project delivers on budget and programme. About You You’re an ambitious, technically strong Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience managing large packages or full projects.Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.7+ years’ post-graduate experience with a Tier 1 or reputable main contractor in Ireland or the UK.Proven success on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects (€30m+).Excellent analytical, contractual, and communication skills.Confident leading commercial meetings and negotiations.A proactive team player who can work independently and mentor others.
