Job Title: Python Backend Engineer Location: London (In office 2 x per week) Salary/Rate: Up to £455 per day (Inside IR35) Start Date: November 2025 Job Type: 10 month contract Company Introduction: We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Engineer with strong experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure,Web Services & Microservices to join our global client in the insurance industry. Job Responsibilities/Objectives: As a Python Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, designing and building the next generation of solutions that power our clients life-saving mission-critical systems. Across the entire platform, you'll have the opportunity to deep dive into their stack, which includes our AWS cloud infrastructure with Python driving our clients backend operations. Play a part in building great experiences for our customers, continuously improving the quality and value of our products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions Develop and maintain backend systems to ensure seamless operation Dive into the tech stack, exploring new tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond Required Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate will have the following: Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, with proficiency in Python for backend development Experience with Web Services, Microservices & APIs Able to work in an Agile development environment with continuous integration Confident working with Data intensive applications A fearless attitude towards tackling challenges across the entire stack A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now with your updated CV in Microsoft Word/PDF format.
