Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant – NewcastleWe’re looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, community-focused school in Newcastle this September.This is a school where inclusion, respect, and high expectations are at the heart of everything they do. Supporting pupils across all Key Stages (KS1–KS4), the team works hard to create a safe, nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their potential.Your role will include:
Providing targeted support for pupils with special educational needs, including learning, communication, and emotional regulation
Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
Assisting teachers with inclusive learning strategies across different age groups
Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong experience working with SEND across a range of age groups
Brings a calm, patient approach and genuine passion for making a difference
Is confident supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including SEMH and communication difficulties
Can commit to a full-time role from September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
