Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Part Time Logistics Assistant to join our Central Production Unit team in Bermondsey, London SE16. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on clear communication, coordination, and problem-solving. You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of our freshly prepared food to clients across the UK – liaising with drivers, managing dispatch queries, and ensuring our logistics run like clockwork.We Offer: Rate: £20,000 per annum (pro rata) Shifts: Tuesday to Thursday (3 days/week), approx. 7am – 4pm Contract: Part Time / PermanentAbout the role:Act as the key point of contact between our drivers, internal teams, and external clients regarding deliveries and dispatch updatesMonitor van maintenance schedules, temperature records, and general upkeep of delivery vehiclesEnsure accurate communication and respond promptly to client queries with professionalism and claritySupport the account manager with logistics coordination and delivery planningAssist with general administrative tasks including quotes, orders, invoices, and menu updatesHelp identify and implement improvements to logistics processes and customer serviceContribute to a positive and collaborative working environment within the Central Production UnitWhat we’re looking for:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalA polite and professional telephone mannerStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and solve problems independentlyA flexible team player willing to support other areas of the business when neededFamiliarity with London geography is a plus, but not essentialReliable, efficient, and proactive in day-to-day tasks
