Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m taking the role of Principle Contractor and Principal Designer on schemes and also supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.Role PurposeAs a Purchaser, the key purpose of your role is to purchase equipment in line with requests from the businessThe RoleContracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday.To ensure all goods and services are delivered as requiredTo ensure all associated records are maintained to provide accurate dataRequirementsThe CandidateProven record of a procurement role / supplier relationship management experienceKnowledge of and experience in the ordering of goods and servicesProficient in communicating with suppliers and negotiating costsMechanical and/or electrical product knowledge would be advantageousProven background in Administration, purchasing and logisticsComputer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsBenefitsBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR BRIDGESRoSPA Gold Medal winner, Bridges - is an excellent company to work for and a great place to develop your career.
