About the RoleTeaching Personnel is currently seeking a resilient, empathetic, and committed SEN (Special Education Needs) Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for young people with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in our partnered secondary schools.This is a hands-on role that requires you to be flexible and adaptable, as each day can bring new challenges and changes. You’ll need to be willing to work with pupils across all key stages and abilities, supporting those who may struggle to engage in a typical classroom environment. Your role will be to help them feel safe, understood, and capable of progress.We’re looking for someone with a calm and patient approach, who can build positive relationships and apply effective de-escalation techniques when needed. The ability to remain composed under pressure is essential in helping pupils feel supported and ready to learn.

Must be 18 or over Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)An Enhanced DBS on the Update ServiceLevel 2 Safeguarding trainingAt least two professional references covering 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
