Support Worker Care Connection are recruiting, experienced Support Workers, to support our clients in the Melksham area! This is a temporary, ad hoc role, you will be supporting staffing gaps due to sickness and holidays. At this particular service, you will be supporting two Female service users, you will follow support plans to enable you to provide person centred support and enable them to be as independent as possible, prioritising choice in all aspects of their daily lives. Shifts here can be variable between 07.00-22.00, this service also has waking night staff 22.00-08.00. Job Role A Support Worker is required to deliver support within an adult's health or social care environment, supporting with daily living tasks or development of new skills. The tasks may be one to one with an adult or with other support workers or health professionals, they may be provided within the home and garden itself or outside in the community, equipment may be required for moving and handling or health tasks. A support plan on site must be followed for completion of tasks, safety, client communication and any end-of-life instruction where relevant.
