Your new companyRemedy is proud to be supporting a two-form entry primary school in Greenwich as they are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced teaching assistant for a long-term full-time contract. This is an extremely supportive and welcoming school that requires a strong teaching assistant to support the nursery class, starting in the new year and lasting until the end of the academic year.Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school, you will be joining a highly experienced EYFS cohort. You will be based within the nursery class in the mornings, offering 1:1 and small group support as required. You will work in collaboration with the class teacher to promote engagement by utilising an array of classroom equipment and tailoring lessons/activities to best suit pupils' interests. You will lead on small group interventions with a focus on phonics using the RWI scheme and learn through play sessions to support social and emotional development.
