Job Title: Science Teacher Location: Sheffield (S5 & S9) Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking to inspire pupils and make a real impact in the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield?GSL Education are seeking experienced Science Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield (S5 & S9). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils’ scientific knowledge and practical skills, and support their academic progress.As a Science Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Encourage pupils to develop investigative and problem-solving skills.Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times. Requirements for the role: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.Experience teaching Science at school level.Strong classroom management and communication skills.A passion for motivating and inspiring young learners.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
