Job Title: 2 x Miners (1 Lead Miner and 1 Back-Up Miner/Mate - Timber Headings) Location: Reading Sewage Treatment Works (RG2) initially, then moving to a central London project after completion. Start Date: December / January Duration: 4 months + Pay: Based on experience Working Arrangement: Site-based Overview: We are urgently seeking two skilled miners for timber heading works in shallow ground conditions. The first project will be at Reading STW (RG2), followed by a move to a major project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced miners looking for consistent work across multiple sites. Roles Available: Lead Miner: Responsible for leading timber heading operations and ensuring safety and efficiency. Back-Up Miner/Mate: Assists the lead miner, supports operations, and ensures smooth workflow. Key Responsibilities: Carry out timber heading in shallow ground conditions Work safely and efficiently in confined environments Collaborate with site teams to maintain progress and safety standards Requirements: Proven experience in mining or timber heading CSCS card and relevant site qualifications Confined Space advantageous Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different site conditions Availability to start December/January To Apply: Please get in touch ASAP to express your interest and confirm availability.
