Learning Support Assistant (Secondary School) Location: Ashford Pay: £100–£110 per day Start: ASAP / OngoingWe are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students’ learning and development in a supportive school environment.The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support students with additional learning needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Help students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience preferred)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people’s education
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
