Key Responsibilities Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a safe and productive learning environmentSupport students with a range of Special Educational Needs, adapting activities to meet individual needsImplement school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagementWork closely with teaching staff and SEN teams to deliver tailored supportProvide feedback on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff This is a specialised school for pupils aged 7-16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).The SEMH needs of pupils often impact their ability to access mainstream education and may include: Anxiety disordersADHDAutism Spectrum Conditions (ASC - with SEMH as primary need)Trauma-related difficulties Who We Are Looking For Experience working in SEN or PRU settingsHLTA / Cover Supervisor experienceStrong understanding of SEMH and positive behaviour strategiesAbility to manage classrooms and deliver pre-set work effectivelyResilient, patient, and passionate about inclusive educationSkilled in de-escalating challenging situations calmly and safely Working Hours / Benefits Full Time and Part Time applicants will be considered for this roleMonday – FridayFlexible start dateHoliday Pay!Access to FREE online CPD training coursesSupportive and collaborative school environment Are you ready to inspire and support the next generation?
