This role ensures accurate stock levels, timely supply to coffee bars and restaurants, strong supplier relationships, and full compliance with health and safety standards.Qualifications Previous experience in a stock control, storeman, or warehouse role (hospitality or contract catering preferred).Strong organisational and time-management skills.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Basic IT skills (stock systems, spreadsheets, email).Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information Personal AttributesReliable and well organised.Proactive and flexible.Strong communication skills.Committed to maintaining high standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStock Control & InventoryReceive, check, and store all deliveries in line with company standards.Maintain accurate stock records, including regular stock counts and inventory checks.Monitor stock levels and report shortages, over-stocking, or discrepancies.Ensure correct storage, labelling, date rotation, and FIFO procedures at all times.Requisition & DistributionSupply all coffee bars, restaurants, and service areas with stock as per requisitions.Ensure timely and accurate issuing of stock to operational teams.Maintain par levels to support smooth daily operations.Supplier & Administration DutiesBuild and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and delivery drivers.Check delivery notes and invoices, reporting discrepancies where required.Complete and update invoice trackers and stock control documentation.Vending & Equipment SupportOversee stock supply for vending machines and ensure products are replenished.Report maintenance or stock issues related to vending equipment.Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all storage areas comply with health & safety and food hygiene standards.Maintain clean, organised, and safe storage environments.Support site compliance with BaxterStorey policies and procedures.General DutiesSupport operational needs as directed by the Manager on Duty.Assist with additional site tasks where required to support the wider team.
