Business Development Associate - Structured Real Estate FinanceA fast-growing UK specialist lender is expanding its Structured Real Estate Finance team and is looking to hire an Business Development Associate to support the delivery of complex, high-value Bridging property finance transactions.This is a hands-on role within an entrepreneurial lending platform that’s known for doing bespoke deals, moving quickly and backing its clients across the full property cycle — both commercial and residential.The RoleYou’ll work closely with senior originators, credit and relationship management teams, supporting deals end-to-end — from initial opportunity and credit approval through to completion and in-life management.Over time, there’s clear scope to step into direct origination of your own business.The lending remit is broad and flexible, spanning bridging, investment, refinancing, portfolio restructuring and capital release, secured against residential, HMOs, commercial and mixed-use assets, land, offices, hotels and portfolios.What you’ll be doingSupporting origination and execution across structured property finance dealsAnalysing opportunities and preparing clear, high-quality credit papersManaging transactions from credit approval through to completionWorking with Relationship Management teams on post-drawdown portfolio managementEnsuring credit policy, AML and KYC requirements are metBuilding strong relationships internally and externallyHelping improve processes as the platform continues to scaleAbout You:Ideally 4–5 years’ experience in UK property finance with a bank or non-bank lenderStrong credit and financial analysis skills, including cashflow modellingGood understanding of property due diligence and structured lendingCommercial, relationship-driven and comfortable working on complex dealsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExposure to complex short-term or bridging finance helpful, but not essentialGreat Package and Benefits, this is hybrid role with 3 days office based in Central London.Please apply for a confidential conversation and for further information.
