Mobile Caretaker – LewishamSalary - £27,248 35 hours per weekPermanent | Full TimeService Care Solutions are working with a large housing organisation to recruit a Mobile Caretaker to support multiple residential estates across South East London. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you will help keep communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming for residents.A company van is provided, and the role involves travelling between sites daily, so flexibility and confidence working independently are essential.Key responsibilities Provide cover for caretaking and gardening teams across multiple estatesMaintain cleanliness of communal areas, including litter picking and graffiti removalManage refuse and recycling areasCarry out scheduled cleaning tasksReport repairs, vandalism, hazards, and health & safety issuesComplete basic safety checks (e.g. emergency lighting and fire alarm testing)Attend estate walkabouts and support actions around anti-social behaviourWork closely with the local Estate Services management team Requirements Full UK manual driving license (essential)Good customer service and communication skillsBasic literacy and numeracyUnderstanding of health & safety practicesAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyPhysically fit and comfortable with manual dutiesWillingness to undergo a Basic DBS check Additional information Mobile role covering multiple sitesMonday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm For more details on this vacancy, and to apply, send your CV to Prakash by emailing .uk or call .
