Hayward Hawk is delighted to be recruiting for our professional services client for a Payroll Specialist to join its established Finance team based in Belfast. This role will support the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll services across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure timely processing and resolution of employee queries.What You'll Do:Assist with end-to-end payroll activities including input, validation and reconciliationProvide guidance to employees, managers and HR on payroll-related mattersSupport the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrollsSupport payroll administration relating to international transfers, relocations and assignmentsLiaise with outsourced payroll providers to ensure compliance and accuracyMaintain and review employee data to ensure integrity within payroll systemsRespond to and resolve complex payroll queries, escalating where appropriateAssist with payroll reporting, analysis and ad hoc finance projectsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across payroll processesWhat You'll Need:Experience working within a large firm payroll functionUnderstanding of UK PAYE legislation and payroll complianceExperience working alongside outsourced payroll providersExposure to global mobility or international payroll processesExperience managing complex payroll-related queriesAbility to manage large datasets and perform detailed analysisStrong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlinesAbility to build effective working relationships across departmentsExperience using integrated HR/payroll systemsExposure to multi-country payroll environmentsPayroll qualification (CIPP or similar) is desirableWhat You'll Get:Competitive salaryHybrid working modelOpportunity to work within a global organisationExposure to complex international payroll environmentsSupportive and inclusive working culture
