Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for a primary class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all children in that class
- Plan and deliver lessons with a variety of teaching and learning approaches including strategies for differentiation, and have experience of teaching EAL students - English, Maths and Science
- Contribute to project based learning, a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects
- Actively promote high quality learning, where all students develop skills and concepts at high levels
- Contribute to developing the curriculum and collaborative learning at all levels of school life
- Create inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge and a range of skills within an environment based on trust and respect
- Select relevant resources and digital tools to support and enhance learning, and promote responsible use of technology
- Develop appropriate assessment tasks, monitor and track student progress, provide timely and effective individual student feedback that enhances student’s learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues in a professional manner
