Duties:

• Source suppliers, request quotations, compare prices, quality, and lead times.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Maintain an updated supplier database and evaluate vendor performance.

• Create, process, and track purchase orders.

• Ensure all purchases follow the hotel’s budget, par levels, and approval matrix.

• Resolve discrepancies between PO, delivery note, and invoice.

• Liaise with storekeeper to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.

• Adjust orders based on consumption trends, occupancy, and upcoming events.

• Conduct periodic cost-saving analyses.

• Ensure suppliers meet food safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.

• Follow brand standards and procurement policies.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records.

• Provide weekly cost updates to Finance and department heads.

Requirement:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.
