Apply for an exciting opportunity to work in an established English International School as an Early Years Foundational Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant working with children between 3 and 5 years old. This is also known as kindergarten school.

English International School (EIS) provides an international curriculum to students from all over the world from the of 3 to 18 years old. EIS is managed by an international team which is recognised for its outstanding quality of education.

• Salary - 80,000 rub per month, before tax. The employment is in accordance with Russian labour Law.

• Working Hours - 08:00 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday. 08:00 to 15:00 on Fridays.

• Contract Term – this is a temporary contract until June 30th, 2026, with a potential full-time contract.

Your duties will include:

• Working under the supervision, guidance and partnership of the EYFS teacher
• Helping the students meet the educational requirements and - related expectations of the curriculum (supported by the school) both indoor and outdoor classes
• Keeping the children safe at all times including in, out and around school
• Ensuring that children behave appropriately and positively, and motivating children to stay on task and engaged in their learning
• Helping the teacher to evaluate the performance of students throughout the school year, including providing input to the teacher to help with school reports
• Physical support such as helping change into indoor and outdoor clothing as well as footwear when needed
• To work in accordance with school policies, procedures and expectations

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working with children between 3 and 5 years old
• Basic competency in speaking the English language
• Physically fit, healthy and motivated to work
• Communication and interpersonal skills, patience, resourcefulness and creativity
• Desire to work in a very multi-national environment with many different cultures and characters
• Basic skills in computing and recording data

Desirable (But Non-Essential) Requirements:

• Experience of educational work or teaching practice
• Pedagogical (teaching) qualifications, diplomas or certificates
