Sales Manager (Heavy Machinery)
Location: Baku
Salary 2500 AZN (NET) +%
Working Schedule: 09.00 -18.00 (5 day per week)
Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries related to products, services, prices, availability etc.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
• Oversee and coordinate sales activities in Baku & Azerbaijan region
• Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for heavy equipment spare parts.
• Customer & Market Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to position our products effectively.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and optimizing pricing strategies.
• Assist and advise customers in the selection of the appropriate products and/or services
• Prepare quotations, process orders and manage existing orders as necessary
• Develop sales targets, strategies and forecasts
• Visit customers on frequent basis to identify opportunities for growth
• Work with internal stakeholders to assure customer requirements and expectations are fulfilled
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of work experience in sales field. Must be in construction, industrial or experience in heavy equipment
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience in aftermarket spare parts for heavy equipment
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• In-depth understanding of heavy equipment spare parts, pricing, and demand.
• Familiarity with sales laws, export regulations, and logistics
• Knowledge of fluid power and/or automation and/or motion control products is strongly preferred
• Previous success in sales and/or experience in a technical support role is preferred
• Experience in purchasing manufacturing or technical products is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Capable of handling multiple high pressure tasks.
• Flexible for domestic and international travel
