We are is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join our team at AIFCA. The Health & Safety Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation of safety measures in compliance with the regulatory acts. The successful candidate will actively participate in promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to management in implementing safety measures according to regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Participate in production meetings to address safety issues and ensure compliance in company facilities.
• Contribute to achieving business goals, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning for occupational safety and health.
• Develop instructions, procedures, and plans to enhance safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare internal orders on safety issues to minimize risks for employees.
• Conduct training sessions and meetings to educate staff on safety measures and protocols.
• Initiate procurement of materials and services to improve workplace safety.
• Perform HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare reports on inspection results and actions taken to rectify violations.
• Coordinate with premises lessor to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct training on emergency procedures for personnel.
• Oversee the functionality of fire alarm systems and firefighting equipment.
• Conduct safety inductions for new employees and visitors.
• Coordinate daily physical security activities.
• Ensure confidentiality, safety, and compliance in documentation.
• Strictly adhere to internal policies, regulations, and legislation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
• NEBOSH/IOSH certifications or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health and safety or related fields.
• Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
