Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Russian accounting standards
• Preparation of financials as per RGAAP and other government reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately including preparation of documents, checklists
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and other financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Control of delegated authority approval levels in financial transactions
• Review contracts for financial, tax, compliance risks
• Control compliance with company policies and regulations
• Coordinate and manage audits
• Provide support and trainings to the finance team, in IFRS, RAS, internal controls fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Project work on improvement of processes and internal controls, simplification & automaion of processes related to accounting and reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies as required.
• On-going communication with corporate teams in HQ (IFRS accounting, process improvements & automation)

Requirements:

• Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
• DipIFR, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
• Extensive experience (5-7 years) in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on reporting and financial control
• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Russian accounting standards
• SAP experience
• English at upper-intermediate/advanced level
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in simplification and automation of processes related to accounting & reporting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to meeting deadlines
