Responsibilities:

Support for 4CA countries and Almaty placed state officials:

• Execute a comprehensive public policy advocacy program in coordination with Legal & Compliance team

• Analyze policies, legislation and regulations and make recommendations on pursuit of policies

• Monitor movement on top policy priorities, central and local levels

• Draft testimony, support letters, position papers and talking points to advance Company’s legislative and political priorities

• Draft content (articles, op-eds, blog posts) for newsletters, website, intranet and other communications

• Manage and help produce staff trainings on public policy content and advocacy strategies

• Plan and manage meetings with the government’s officials, Trade Chambers, non-government organizations

• Participate in working groups with the Parliament, central and local government bodies, Trade Chambers

• Co-ordinate participation and collaboration of the Company with the Foreign Investors Council, business associations, provide recommendation regarding appropriateness of participation in particular association based on business priorities of the Company

• Draft and supervise annual GR Plan of the Company (RHQ requirement).

Requirements:

• Bachelor' s degree in Law or a related field
• Proven experience as a former Lawyer of the Ministries, other Governmental Agencies or a similar role
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Knowledge of Tajik or Kyrgyz language will be an advantage.
