Electrical Improver Contract – ongoing £18.50 per hour - Weekdays £22.50 per hour - Weekends CIS Available Castle Brom & Solihull Role SummaryWe’re currently seeking Electrical Improvers to join our client, a world-leading automotive OEM, across their sites in the Midlands – Solihull & Castle Brom. This role will be responsible for the Electrical installations and modifications on site/facility projects. Role & Responsibilities of the Electrical Improver Electrical installation to drawingReading and understanding engineering drawings and schematicsInstallation and modifications of cable trays, trunking and conduitsInstallation and modification of power and data cablesWiring of power and control cabinets and associated equipment Requirements Of the Electrical Improver role Jib/ECS/CSCS CardsLevel 2 and working towards Level 3IPAF 3a/3BPrevious experience of working on industrial electrical installation projects with a production or automotive environmentEquipped with own comprehensive tool kit for suitable tools for the roleAbility to work on various jobs on own initiativeAbility to follow set tasks set by Supervisor/Project ManagerExperience and wiliness to be paired with an apprentice/electrical mateAble to install every type of standard containment used in the industryAble to 1st and 2nd an electrical install ready for an electrician to test and power upKnowledge of site safety
