Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) and ongoing monitoring

- Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening

- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and escalate potential suspicious activity

- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with the preparation and submission of STRs/SARs

- Help to maintain and update core compliance policies, procedures, registers and daily/weekly reports.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a compliance role

- Experience in customer onboarding (KYC/CDD/EDD), transaction monitoring, and investigations

- Knowledge in sanctions screening tools

- Core UK and Canadian AML/CFT regulations

- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and deliver high-quality work in a part-time capacity

- Comfortable with compliance SaaS platforms and remote work tools

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Professional certification (ICA, ACAMS, etc.) is a strong advantage.
