Political & Economic Officer

Embassy of the Republic of Singapore to the Russian Federation

Salary level from 71 000 RUB

City: Moscow

Preferred minimum experience: 1-3 years

Employment type: Full time

Responsibilities:

• Translate articles, correspondences and documents (Russian to English and vice versa)
• Conduct interpretation for Embassy officials
• Conduct daily media monitoring, including on social media
• Conduct research and produce reports on regional and domestic developments
• Arrange, coordinate, and accompany Embassy officials on visits and meetings, either in or outside of Moscow
• Attend to publicity matters and the Embassy’s social media outreach
• Carry out secretarial duties and other tasks assigned by the Embassy.

Requirements:

• Russian citizens only
• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree
• Background in international relations, political science, journalism, or history is a plus
• Prior experience in interpretation/ translation, a Graduate Certificate in Translation/ Interpretation (Russian to English and vice versa), or evidence of studies in the English language will be a plus
• Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
• Must possess a good attitude and be a team player.
