New temporary vacancy for a Financial Analyst at TotalEnergies Renewables Services Kazakhstan.

Employment conditions: (1-1,5-year cover for the temporary absence of permanent employee)

Work location: Kazakhstan, Astana city.

Purpose: The purpose of Financial Analyst is to analyze the business activities of the organization in Kazakhstan. Position directly reports to Director of Finance, HR & Administration. Successful candidate will be expected to collect data for financial reports, calculate financial indicators, prepare financial reports, and use statistical methods to estimate cost.

Financial Analyst will have these accountabilities:

• Preparing of sales & production budget / functional budgets / discretionary cost / cash budget / long term budget / annual budget / rolling budget (RoFo) based on estimates provided by corresponding departments
• Coordinating consolidation of the operations and functional budgets
• Preparing financial statements to Headquarter and External users: on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis
• Preparing for quarterly reporting to National Bank of RK
• Preparing for quarterly project finance related reporting to Lenders: financial covenants, ratios and updating financial model
• Ensuring quality of country reporting process, incl. P& L, Sales FC, Business updates, Risk & Opportunities, and other ad-hoc reports
• Ensuring quality input and consolidation of operational planning/budgeting/forecasting processes

Get deeply involved in any internal/external audit, mitigate company risks through a proper process set up and drive resolution of findings in compliance with the relevant policies and procedure and legislation

Qualification/Experience Required:

• Deep knowledge in application of International Financial Report Standards, especially:
IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 16, IAS 23, IAS 37, IAS 20, IAS 24, IAS 32
• Professional certifications must: DipFR and/or ACCA ongoing
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Big4 Audit / Budgeting & Reporting / Project Finance
• Practical knowledge and skills in Financial Statements Reporting: SFP, SPL and SCF
• Practical knowledge and skills in Project Finance: Financial Model, Covenants
• Practical knowledge and skills in Budgeting & Reporting: Budgeted FSs, KPIs and Ratios
• Works and communication with Auditors
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheet
• Higher education in finance / accounting / economics
• MA from abroad or leading local universities is an advantage
